Techno Series
Through cybernetic alterations, and dark club landscapes, my Techno series asks the question “what will party culture look like in a future dystopian society?” Science fiction has always been a strong interest of mine. With the exception of books and movies I have always felt closest to this genre in the bowls of a techno rave. Dark rooms, looming fog, electric lasers, and booming rhythm come together to create a community of freedom, escape, and acceptance. I draw inspiration from parties and raves attended in the past including clubs in Berlin, London, Chicago, Amsterdam and more. My work brings to life the visuals and rhythms of the future. Oil paintings depicting the deafening base to numb the pain, altered perceptions through substances, or parties full of cyborgs in a world post humanity.
